About The Inspire CS Group

Founded in 2009, Inspire has quickly established itself as a quality provider of specialist residential care, supported accommodation and education  for young people with complex needs in communities throughout Lancashire, Cheshire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside. Working in partnership with local authorities and other professionals to provide flexible care, support and education in order to facilitate the growth and development of young people and their families in a dignified and respectful manner is the cornerstone of our service delivery.

Our single, dual and three bed homes are OFSTED approved and provide a warm, comfortable and stable family orientated environment essential for young people aged 6-18 years. Our homes are staffed with experienced social care professionals all equipped with the skills necessary to ensure we can ‘make a difference’ so that young people can flourish in our care. Over the past few years we have been successful in the tendering process to join the Greater Manchester and Greater Merseyside frameworks for placements as well as the Liverpool City Region contract.

In January 2012 Inspire Training & Education Services was formed and opened The Parks School on one of the childrens homes sites in Wigan. It initially opened as a 6 student school and then grew to 10 students in Sept 2015 due to demand. In September 2017 the student demand has grown so much that we moved over to the larger Hindley Library site catering for up 30 students.

At The Parks School we provide a strong, consistent and caring learning environment in which students can develop their full personal, academic and social potential; breaking down barriers to ensure school is a positive experience for our students. We also provide access to a broad, balanced curriculum including key core subjects, PSHCE and SMSC learning permeating throughout. This is differentiated through an Individual Learning Plan to meet each students needs. This includes access to a wide range of examination opportunities, work experience and vocational qualifications with accreditation (Unit Awards, Functional Skills and GCSE’s).

In January 2014 the Inspire Community Services was formed to offer more diverse specialist community based accommodation, Training and Education for Looked After Children, Care Leavers, Parents and Families. More recently we have expanded our services to cater for unaccompanied young people in our supported accommodation services.  Our experienced and dedicated team meets the hardest to reach needs and client circumstances throughout Greater Manchester and Merseyside. Our creative and unique service work in partnership with local authorities and other professionals to provide bespoke packages to our young people in a dignified and respectful manner, which is the cornerstone of our service delivery.

In September 2023 Inspire Community Services successfully gained registration with Ofsted and this will enable us to further grow and develop the high quality supported accommodation we have provided for over 10 years.

Our Principles

The welfare of any young person is paramount.

We contribute to young people’s care, learning, development and safeguarding and this is reflected in every aspect of our practice and service provision.

Staff will work with social workers, parents and families who are partners in the care, learning, development and safeguarding of their children recognising they are often the young persons first and most enduring carers and educators.

Our single, dual and three bed childrens homes are OFSTED registered and provide a warm, comfortable and stable family orientated environment essential for young people aged 6-18 years. Our homes are staffed with experienced social care professionals all equipped with the skills necessary to ensure that young people can flourish in our care.

Our Supported Accommodation Services are provided in 4-9 bed properties / HMO’s and we ensure all of the living environments are of a very high standard and are staffed 24/7. The age of young people residing there ranges from 16-18yrs after leaving school, however we do support young people 18+ as long as the matching is appropriate and any risks are assessed and minimised.

Our Mission

Our mission is to Inspire growth, Nurture potential, and Support one another with Passion, while upholding Integrity, fostering Respect, and promoting Empowerment in everything we do.

We actively promote Young peoples health and well-being.

At Inspire young people have their personal and physical safety safeguarded, whilst allowing for risk and challenge as appropriate to the capabilities of the individual. Self esteem and resilience are recognised as essential to every young persons development.

Confidentiality and agreements about confidential information are respected as appropriate unless a young persons protection and well-being are at stake.

Professional knowledge, skills and values are shared appropriately at Inspire in order to enrich the experience of the individual more widely.

Best practice requires a continuous search for improvement and self awareness of how our staff are perceived by others.

We operate a “Culture Of Awareness” which recognises that young people are potentially subject to exploitation by adults who wish to use social care as an access point to vulnerable young people.
